Amarillo Ductwork Replacement
Ductwork Replacement Services in Panhandle, Claude, Canyon & the Surrounding Areas
Heating and air conditioning equipment is only one piece of the entire system. Ductwork is an equally critical component to making the equipment perform properly.
National Comfort Institute has done extensive research on many existing home heating and cooling systems. Their research showed the majority of homes heating and cooling systems were only delivering between 47% & 52% of the capacity and efficiency the equipment was designed and tested to do.
The Importance of Duct Sizing
Carrier® Corporation (as well as all other manufacturers of heating and cooling equipment) and the International Residential Code all state that ductwork is to be sized by ACCA Manual D. The reason for this is because there is no other accepted methodology to properly size the ductwork.
Undersized ductwork cannot deliver the proper amount (cubic feet per minute) of conditioned air from the equipment into the house. The first problem when heating and cooling equipment is subjected to undersized ductwork it consumes an excessive amount of energy (gas and/or electricity). The second problem is the equipment will wear out and fail premature, which is an addition waste of your money.
Duct Installation Standards
The second part of an excellent duct system is the installation. We also follow the International Residential Code requirements & the duct manufacturer’s installation instructions.
Properly designed and installed duct systems do not leak air into the attic and the static pressure (which is just like blood pressure in your veins) is at a good, safe level.
To not do duct systems correctly is cutting corners that only cost the user much more money to operate and money to replace the equipment much sooner than is necessary.

Fantastic"About five years ago we had a complete heating and air system installed by Garys. The system worked great but the OxyQuantum air purification system we had installed with the unit continuously failed. Eventually Garys service tech, Taylor, got involved and took full ownership of our problem. He contacted the service manager, Jeremy, and he, along with service tech, Dustin, came out and stayed on it until it was completely resolved. As a supervisor I’m always impressed when an employee takes “ownership” of a customer’s problem and these guys did exactly That. The service techs at Garys ARE the face of the company and Gary’s techs have always been exceptional in their service and timeliness . Great company, great products and exceptional people."- TS Buege

Very professional, very informative, and made a believer out of me so I signed up as a member."Michael came out and serviced my air conditioner which was freezing up. I have had several technicians from other companies look at it because it requires Freon every year and they could not find the leak. He found it in five minutes and found out that my heating unit had a strip out so it was not performing at full capacity. Very professional, very informative, and made a believer out of me so I signed up as a member. I'll be in the market for a new unit before long and will be getting a bid on it."- T.B.
