When you are ready for a new HVAC system: Make sure the “Comfort Advisor” who comes to your home takes the time to perform a Load Calculation which is required by City Code. This is where he will:

  • measure the size of your windows
  • measure all the openings in your home
  • measure your ceiling height
  • take note of the direction the front door faces
  • take note of the number of occupants
  • take note of other sources of heat gain in home
  • And will factor your insulation in the walls and attic of your home.

Make sure this person who is sizing your equipment doesn’t GUESS!
